Color Therapy Can Heal

Source : Cancer treatment blog

man-with-auras

Color affects our physical, mental and spiritual being. Color therapy uses the healing properties of colors to stabilize energy levels in our body parts. We certainly could do with some color in therapy. But color therapy? That’s right. And it is really about healing with something as simple as color.

It is true that our bodies are dependent on light and operate as prisms. So, when the sun shines on to our body, the white light creates rainbow colors which fragment equally in to seven chakras or energy centers of the body, which are our batteries.

The method of color therapy is based on the law of resonant colors interaction, conterminous to frequency characteristics of body. Color is absorbed by our magnetic energy field or aura and the energy of color affects our physical, spiritual and emotional levels. Every cell in the body needs light energy. Thus, color energy has wide spread effects on whole body.

Colored light can be used directly on the body’s health and immune strength, affecting the body and the emotions. It does not alter the material make up of the body, but rather the vibration aspect. The aura of the healthy person has pure colors. The mechanism of many illnesses is caused by infringement of color harmony, mixture of colors and also deficiency of the certain color necessary for normal activity of the organs and mind-emotional condition of the person.

Celebrate Your Achievements! No Matter How Small

Source : Team Building and leadership blog.
Do you ever stop to think how successful a hockey team would be if they did not celebrate each and every goal they score? Or any sports team every time they put a point up on the board?  You would sit in the stands and wonder what was up if they didn`t.

Hockey teams celebrate all goals.  It doesn`t matter if they are losing– they still celebrate each and every time they put the puck in the back of the net.060528_bonds_vlg233pwidec-226x300

So why do businesses seem to ignore the small goals?  In small business computer consulting, leaders seem to over look when staff achieves the smallest of victories and they even sometimes brush over the big achievements in their business.

These are the same businesses that I talk with when they are struggling, when morale in the workplace is low or when they are on a losing streak with clients leaving.

Giving Young People a Chance To Gain Experience and Skills

Source : Team-building blog.

Does this sound like a familiar story? A middle school student applied for a job and his prospective employer said, I am sorry but you cannot be employed because you are not yet 16. Then when reaching 16 years of age, the student applied again, only to be told he lacked the experience.

Website Award Programs listed within WebsAwards, UWSAG and AS!, to name just three award program rating services have much in common, all which would give young people a chance to gain experience doing research, writing and feed back, analysis and developing skills in communication, team work and reading.

A typical award program has a staff and training opportunities for young people.

Even early teens would be mentored by an experienced staff members who administer the stated objectives of the award program (mission statement), apply what the owner considers to be an excellent website (criteria), score a website after a thorough review and offer objective reasons for improvement, communicate with the website owner and other staff members (through out the whole process). Then finally inform an applicant of the review process results and make the necessary additions to the award program website.

As you can easily determine from the above a rated award program is professionally run by and experienced staff, not just one person and there are ample opportunities for involvement in the process. Below is a discussion of the process.

Lower Your Risk

Source: Cancer-treatments.

Lower the risk of Breast Cancer

0a_national_breast_cancer_month

A tremendous amount of promising research is under way to determine the cause of breast cancer and to establish effective ways to prevent it. Still, doctors can’t always explain why one woman develops breast cancer and another doesn’t. Everyone seems to know someone with breast cancer and we wonder whether we too will be affected during our lifetime.

All of us want to do everything we can to reduce the risk of ever getting the disease. Right now, though we just don’t know enough about what causes breast cancer and we haven’t yet figured out how to keep it from happening we can’t say that we can “prevent” it. However, researchers are working to learn how our “external” and “internal” environments may work separately and together to affect our health and possibly the risk of developing breast cancer.

“Internal environment” means the things inside our bodies that influence our health such as genetics (the genes you got from your mother and father), hormones, illnesses and feelings and thoughts. “External environment” refers to the things outside of our bodies that influence our health such as air, water, food, danger, music, noise, people and stress.
